On Memorial Day Monday, at around 10:30pm, Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium welcomed a new-born Pacific White-sided Dolphin calf to its Oceanarium. Shortly after the birth, the calf swam to the surface, took its first breath, and began to swim and bond with its mother. (via zooborns)

3. You recognize people who are running alongside you in the 1/2 marathon that you haven’t seen for years
4. You open your blinds in the morning and can see the lake from your bed
5. You get woken up from your nap to my dad playing the piano
6. You fit a 1/2 marathon, high school graduation, and a wedding reception all in one day
7. You have the tastiest homemade vanilla latte ever
8. We look on Netflix night after night hoping the movie selection has changed from the night before
9. Brett sleeps in until breakfast is on the table
10. You don’t go to church on a Sunday morning because we don’t have a home church
11. Diana Krall is playing from the iPod in the kitchen
12. We make at least one outing to Super1 and recognize at least one person in there
13. Golf, boating, and/or biking are on the agenda for the day
14. A menu of delicious meals is on the line
15. There are no set meals because we just eat all the time and meals include more food than the snack part
16. You hear Millie whinning and barking every three minutes because she’s ready for her tennis ball to be thrown down to the lake
17. The gas prices are $3.77.
